A Noble Pursuit

Love me baby

your gentle touch.

I crave for it

every second

of everyday.

Whisper to me

how you want it,

want it badly.

You’re all I searched

in this lonely

pathetic world.

I looked for you

every corner.

I followed you.

I pursued you.

I hunted you

and tracked you down

like predators

smell their supper.

So here I am,

holding you close.

Pulling your hair.

Clawing your skin.

Gripping your arm.

Strangling your neck.

Why do you cry?

Don’t you love me?

Tell me you do.

Let me hear you

call me Darling.

Scream my dear name.

Scream for me loud

until you grasp

your heavenly

savored last bout.

You happy now?

I hope you are,

because I am.

    1. Love The Notebook, the book and its film both brought me in tears. Dear John was fine as well, though I didn’t like how they transcended the storyline into film. But I highly recommend The Guardian. I think it was Sparks’ first attempt in writing suspense.
